Look no further for a fantastic start for your horse! Ian did a fantastic job with my youngster getting him started. My horse was so confident and soft when he came home making him a joy to finish. Ian puts the horse first which I love. He was also so well taken care of while he was there I didn’t worry about him at all. You won’t be dissapointed sending your horse here for your needs!

I could not have asked for a better outcome after sending my horse to Ian at Ride a Stride! I bought a very green 13yr old OTTB and was in way over my head, Ian came highly recommended from multiple sources. I sent my horse Remi to him for a 30 day training session on consignment in hopes that we could find Remi a better fitting home then mine. Well after 2 weeks, he found my horse the perfect home! It was all hassle free for me and the best part is I know he did a great job finding all of the horse’s quirks and paring them with a rider that will make them a successful team! The property and facilities at Ride a Stride are beautiful and well kept. All of the horses there appeared to be well taken care of and I had no worries about leaving mine in their care. I have never sent a horse to a trainer before and Ian made this a very pleasant and easy experience for me. Ian was also amazing at keeping me up to date on Remi’s training, along with offering to send pictures and videos. 10/10 would recommend!

I’ve been lessoning and Boarding with Ian at Ride a Stride for almost a decade. He has supported me immensely when I have gone to a show, helped me rehab my gelding after leg surgery, and started my youngster for me. Honestly, I would not trust any one else. This is the best barn family that I have ever been privileged to be a part of!

Ian has taught me for the past five years, and he has helped me excel both in and out of the show ring. He constantly teaches me new things in engaging ways that challenge me to be the best horsewoman I can be. The people at Ride a Stride have also helped me progress, and I have made many new friends along the way! Ian brought me and my horse together, and it’s amazing to see how we have both grown. Ian is the best at what he does, and he knows just about everything you need to know about any discipline. I highly recommend taking lessons or sending your horse for training at Ride A Stride because of the talent and skill that Ian has.

Ian was amazing with my horse siren! She’s such a good trail partner now! Unfortunately due to covid I couldn’t make it down for lessons but he would always text me and help me with my confidence and any questions I had! 🙂

Highly recommend Ian! Sent my 3 yr old Half Arabian filly to him back in January and just brought her home yesterday! Had an AMAZING first ride on her! Can’t thank him enough!
